I need to say a few thank you’s. The past few days have been a mental and emotional challenge to say the least. It’s near impossible to adequately explain all the different feelings and triggers we experienced with the anniversary of Sloan’s death.
What I can express, is that we were held together, perhaps with tape and glue, but held together all the same-by all of you. You once again didn’t hesitate to wrap us up in your love and support, seeing us through. You shared his photos, his story, our words, his light. You sent us flowers, messages, cards, and gifts. You once again showed us what community is. Thank you, for honoring him, and for taking care of us.
